Del Amo Construction
Rebranding – Creative Direction – Insights & Ideation – Digital Content Creation – Assets – Video Production – Offsites & Events
Challenge: Evolve how a 50-year-old construction company leverages their brand to drive success.
Solution: A multi-phased approach to educate and align leadership around a future brand vision and change management.
Del Amo Construction is a second-generation, privately owned LA construction company. After 50 years of success and growth, the leadership team wanted to set the company up for another 50 years and beyond. They realized that what had worked in the past wasn’t necessarily the right solution for the future when it came to their sales and marketing practices. In addition to that, they wanted to ensure they could attract and retain the best talent in their competitive industry, and while they knew that how they marketed themselves would impact that, they weren’t sure where to start. Without any internal brand leadership in place, they came to me for guidance.
I recommended a phased approach. This provided leadership with clarity of purpose and team alignment. It also provided a road map for all subsequent brand communications related work. Acting as a de facto CMO reporting directly to the President for over one year, I led the selection and management of other creative vendors hired to deliver a total brand refresh that included the video below and the items listed below that.
