San Francisco Team Offsite
Challenge: Inspire the team and refresh internal brand awareness.
Solution: An off-site exploring the intersection of human and digital service.
I led ideation, planning, and execution for this three-day offsite in San Francisco. Participants experienced in-person presentations and team-building breakouts, as well as “field trip” small group activities involving different customer service experiences, digital and analog, with various brands ranging sports, coffee, food, computers, art, and cocktail/mixology. Umpqua Bank is a disruptor in the banking sector, yet this event still took them out of their comfort zone (per the brief by my client, their leader) and ended up thrilling even the most skeptical at the beginning.
Annual Celebration Video
When Umpqua Bank acquired another bank doubling their size in terms of employees and assets it was a huge cultural shift for both entities. That year’s annual awards ceremony set out to help ease the transition and acknowledge the challenges everyone was going through. This video kicked off the ceremony.
(I wrote the voiceover, but did not drive video direction/production– that was handled by a Portland based event company.)
